The Devil in Plain Sight & the Devil in the Details

Sometimes the devil we're facing is in plain sight, and other times, it's in the details.

1 Peter 4:12-13 shows us that what we're going through is meant to make us better and stronger. We don't have any power to take and put anything in our own hands. Our inability to trust YAH is allowing us to fall for the same tests.

12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Who is actually being the devil?

Proverbs 3:1-6 shows us that the laws and commandments are to help direct us on the righteous path that YAH wants for us. YAH wants peace for us! How many laws and commandments were you breaking to try and gain your version of happiness and peace? Mercy is patience; you have to have patience! We want what we want when we want it. Like bratty kids. And most times, it doesn't even matter what the outcome is. Some of us go into things knowing that the outcome is going to be bad for us. We have to be honest with ourselves. Wear truth so that you won't be a person that's going to believe a lie.

1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

2 Thessalonians 2:8-13 shows that you have revealed yourself to be wicked and an adversary of YAH when you were trying to live according to your will. You were just following behind the satans of the world. You don't want to admit that you're wrong, so you just stay the course of wickedness in delusion. Sometimes it's better for you to just stop what you're doing. You have to love the truth so that you might be saved. Here's the devil in the details: The whole time what you were having trouble with was the test; and when you failed the test, you revealed yourself to be rebellious. As a result, YAH will send an evil spirit (strong delusion) against you. At this point, you can't be mad at an evil spirit for doing its job. The Most High will make whatever you used to give yourself power the power to destroy you.

Remember: The truth didn't come to you because you did something special. He put the truth there to wake you up for whatever His will is.

Continuing in Proverbs, we learn that trying to do whatever you're trying to do to manipulate an outcome for yourself that YAH doesn't want for you is tantamount to witchcraft. What does YAH want for you? This is what we have to start examining. The tests that are in front of you are leading you to a better place than what you were trying to get for yourself. When you focus on your own path instead of allowing YAH to lead you on your path, He will start pulling things away from you. Just surrender to YAH! Everything you worked for in the path that you were trying to obtain has to be dismantled. You have to get on the path YAH wants for you. On your path, you're going to have trials. YAH will put those trials in front of you so that you can be tested.

We have to examine the reality of what's been really destroying us individually and as a Nation.

Was it demons / the devil or your disobedience that was destroying you?

What's the definition of "a devil?" Don't you become an adversary of YAH if He has a will for you, but you're trying to do your own will? Matthew 16:20-23 shows that Peter wanted something other than what YAH wanted for christ. What is being a Satan? An adversary of YAH and His will. When you are being an adversary of YAH's will for you, you are being a Satan.

20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

1 Samuel 15:23 tells us that rebellion is seen the same as witchcraft to YAH. So don't be a witch!

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.”

In Isaiah 45:4-7, we see that we've been surnamed; we carry YAH's name. When we do something rebellious, we put shame on YAH's name. When we carry YAH's name into a disrespectful situation, this makes us adversaries of YAH, then an evil spirit gets sent against us. YAH sent evil against us because we were the devil the whole time. If you're really standing on the side of YAH, there's nothing that you should be worried about. You don't want to know YAH, which is the truth.

4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Adam and Eve fell the same test. Genesis 3:1 shows that the serpent was the most subtle creature YAH created. Subtle means difficult to understand or perceive, obscure, illusive, discreet, and cunning. Adam and Eve were being adversaries of YAH. And they failed the test that YAH sent to them in the form of the serpent. The serpent was a cunning spirit sent against Adam and Eve due to them trying to outsmart YAH and wanting to be as YAH.

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”

2 Chronicles 18:18-21 shows another example of YAH sending an evil spirit to fulfill His will. YAH's will was that King Ahab would fall. The Most High is sitting with His hosts and sending spirits on those who are wicked. Why play games with YAH by trying to uphold an image of the beast?

18 Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.

19 And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner.

20 Then there came out a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will entice him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith?

21 And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the LORD said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do even so.

Do you think you can walk into the Kingdom of YAH looking like the beast? YAH is destroying this whole world and look at the images they portray. Make sure you're not portraying an image that's going to get destroyed. Stop doing things in your life now that you know won't be done in the Kingdom of YAH. Do you really think you're going to be saved? Is what's killing you going to be in the Kingdom of YAH?

James 4:4 offers a word of advice on following after this world.

“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

The judgment is either eternal life or eternal death. Don't be found as an adversary of YAH. Isaiah 1:21-26 shows that YAH has to avenge Himself of His enemies (using an evil spirit), then we're going to start seeing Zion reemerge as the faithful city. This is what we're trying to do as a Nation of people.

21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

22 Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:

23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

24 Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:

26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

2 Timothy 3:1-9 displays that if you're portraying any of these people that have this type of image, you're getting destroyed with them. Stop upholding the image of the beast; these caricatures have been used over time to destroy us. As a child of YAH, who are you emulating? Because if it's the wrong image, it might get you destroyed.

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

As a Nation, we know for sure that we have been adversaries of YAH - the proof is the curses of Deuteronomy 28. We caused the curses to happen against us because we were being adversaries of YAH. The Most High did all of these things because of our actions. There are nations of people that have been used to destroy Yisrael for her disobedience. Our role as Yisrael is to serve YAH with our whole hearts and souls - that's why He made us. We went against that, which made us adversaries of Him, and then He sent evil spirits and other devils against us.

If you're being a devil, your punishment is becoming a target for evil spirits. And if you're being a Satan, then just be honest with yourself.

What is going to happen to these nations that were sent against Yisrael, and how did they hide themselves in plain sight? Isaiah 14:1-17 shows that the ones who are the dominant society will be the servants. The kings of the earth will be judged for what they've done. Lucifer means light-bearer or bringer of light. Have the kings of the nations brought any light to the world?

1 For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,

4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

5 The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.

6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.

7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.

8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

10 All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?

11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

Evil spirits are sent to you by YAH because you were being a devil. The devil that's in your life is there to test you and you shouldn't think that's strange. It happened to Adam and Eve. Are you better than them? They were made perfect.

Whatever you're doing now that you know is not going to be in the Kingdom of YAH, you need to stop. Stop perpetuating and promoting the image of the beast. Are you living your life for the will of YAH? If you haven't, then you really are the devil.
