Why doesn't unity entail separating from our oppressor?

Our oppressors are doing what they're supposed to do. We can't keep asking them for freedom.

Go build the future you want to see.

Ecclesiastes 1:9-11 shows that nothing new is under the sun. We can see beyond the tricks, so now it's time to overcome them. This generation is chasing after a bag filled with emptiness.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

Our biggest issue is we don't know where our strength, honor, and glory come from

Psalms 28 shows us that YAH is our Rock. Don't allow yourself to be drawn away from Him with wickedness. The reason why our generation has nothing is that we have no regard for what YAH is doing. In your fight, YAH is your strength and shield. Our generation thinks we're safe.

(A Psalm of David.) Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

6 Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

8 The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

Before we can build a nation, we have to build ourselves.

We warn others of the dangers, but then we don't protect ourselves from the dangers. 1 Peter 5:1-9 says that we shouldn't look at a weakness and not address it. We think we're so cool that we can avert the devil. YAH is not going to have anyone proud amongst Him.

The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Whatever dangers exist, we have to know that YAH is going to take care of us.

Matthew 18:5 shows why it's important to trust YAH with a child-like spirit.

And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

Ephesians 6 shows what's truly lacking in our generation. We're supposed to honor and obey YAH. Knowledge and understanding is just one part of honor. You being tempted and going through trials was meant to expose your weaknesses. We can't go through these trials with zero armor; we're not ready. This is the world that we chose: the world that has principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness. We're up against things we can't even see. You won't be able to stand against the wiles of the devil without the whole armor of YAH.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:

22 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.

23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen. (To the Ephesians written from Rome, by Tychicus.)

What is the armor of YAH?

Loins girt with (standing for) Truth
Breastplate (in your heart) of righteousness
Feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace
Shield of faith
Helmet of salvation
Sword of the Spirit (the Word of YAH)

Are you going to keep falling to your knees over the same attacks?

Now is not a time to be walking around without our armor. We should be paying attention to the signs and writings on the walls. How can our generation be the one building our Nation when we're falling to the same attacks as our forefathers?

2 Timothy 3:1-7 also shows what this generation is on. How do you know all of this stuff but haven't taken the actions to turn away from these things? You're being led away with diverse lusts because you're not wearing your armor.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Many people will say that Black Americans were dying for liberties and rights in America. But the reality is, our people were dying for us to return back to YAH, not to vote for an oppressor.

We built this nation for nothing and now we build it for little.

Because of our lusts, we continue walking around with no armor. Are you walking around with this armor? Can you really make a difference here without it? The Most High wants us to come back home, but we can't come back with the same attitude. Your faith is where your trust is. You can't be standing for YAH and for unrighteousness at the same time. You're either with this world or with YAH. It's time for us to stand up for righteousness and get to work.
